Oil Stabilisation Fund

Iran's Oil Stabilization Fund was founded in 2000 and is based on the need for minimizing the costs of public expenditure from volatile oil prices in world markets. One of its goals is to reduce the impact on the national currency from oil price fluctuations. The investment arm is the Iran Foreign Investment Company.
