The National Pension Fund Association (NPFA), established in 1991 and located in Tokyo, is a Japanese national pension fund that provides defined contribution services to self-employed individuals and freelancers.The pension's investment approach is led by CIO Noboru Fukumoto, who was appointed in April, 2025. Prior to this position, Noboru worked as an auditor at Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management.
